Ten years after Carthage was sacked by Rome, Carthaginian-raised Hebrew Nahash has been making money by selling poison to Romans. After witnessing an act of God, she is wracked with guilt about the life she’s been leading and terrified about the fate of her eternal soul. In order to fall back to the path of reighteousness, she plans to walk to Jerusalem and dedicate the rest of her life in service to God. However, the path is not so straightforward. When a young Roman tracks her down in search of her help, he presents her with an opportunity that will help Nahash complete her quest. But with God watching, do the ends justify the means?
